FreeTraining Description
Cultural responsiveness begins with the willingness to have meaningful conversations about identity. In this introductory webinar, participants will explore the concept of broaching as developed by Dr. Day-Vines and colleagues and learn how it can strengthen engagement, trust, and person-centered career services. The session will examine common barriers to discussing race, ethnicity, culture, and other dimensions of identity while providing practical strategies for initiating these conversations with confidence and humility. Through self-reflection and case examples, participants will begin developing skills they can immediately apply in practice.
